Hey guys,
Reviving my interest in Amigas after recent A1200 ressurection... I watched a youtube video recently and noticed some guy had managed to edit the top Workbench toolbar to add his own menu of regularly used Apps. This blew my mind. I had no idea this was possible or that Workbench could be customised like that...
Does anyone know how to do it? It would be great to have a dropdown tab of useful apps...
=) Thanks in advance!

AppMenuCX - My personal favourite. Light weight and efficient (there's millions of these types of programs btw).

Like Paul said, there's literally thousands of programs on Aminet for customizing your Workbench. That's one of my favorite things, that no two Amiga's will ever look the same. ;)

Another positive Mike is that it is compatible with Workbench 2.x.

I always use good old toolsdaemon (for 0s3.9+bb2 is patch is required) for adding my own toolbar menu's and most used applications.
Together with Magic Menu this works the best for me, then you'll have everything available under your right mouse button also.
I also mod the toolbar and windows with visualprefs and birdie (fast Amiga+gfx card required)
But for toolsprefs and magic menu a vanilla A1200 will do.
Small video of my Amiga 600 with vampire 2 i made yesterday, my menus are also transparent.
