Title: Looking for fellow Amiga-Access owners
Post by: haymiggan on February 29, 2004, 08:11:51 AM
Hey, I recently aqquired this great beast and am currently installing it in my power tower alongside my Mediator and have made use of the composite+line out to my tv-card...

but i have some questions!

1) Anyone managed to get the LINE-IN to work? And is it mono or stereo?

2) Anyone that has documentation of any sorts?

3) Anyone with drivers for network cards or others?

4) What networkcards work?

5) Anyone tried the clockport?

There's very little info on the net, apart from DJBASE's amiga-access.de, so perhaps this could reveal some of the answers.

hi haymiggan

try to contaco Massimiliano Tretene by Soft3.

He was not only a reseller but even a programmer (and more) of Access dedicated apps.

AFAIK access has only mono audio. (was planned for interactive kiosk, address card maker and so) no need of stereo performing.

Ciao

Hi haymiggan

i've found an old review/interview of Index Access (on an 1997 italian magazine)

So . . .the in-built audio digitizer, works throug the parallel port and must be activated, from a "special custom register" (due the fact of printing OR digitazing).

Ask to M. Tretene maybe he has the answer.

Ciao

PS- all the above infos, are related to an "Acess R1.2/Pre-prod #03" so could be ancient.
