Post by: fondpondforever on August 19, 2016, 01:15:35 AM
Do you think the ACA500 Plus will be released in Autumn? Haven't heard anything about it lately. Thanks

Who knows?  Maybe the Vampire 500 will arrive first.  I can't see there being much of a market for 020 and 030 boards once the Vampire cards start appearing for more models and are perhaps more readily available.

LOL.  I googled "Amiga ACA500 Plus" and at least three different threads came up, all started by this same guy.  Vaporware until I can put it in my hands, or in common Amiga theme, "two more weeks".  Either way Vampire's gonna clobber it, at this rate.

Not sure if the vampire is taking months to be delivered for a niche amiga like the 600, doubt demand can be met for the 500 unless they find a more suitable way of supplying the boards. Its emulation, although good one. I will still keep my old cpu boards but get one (vampire 2000) to test and compare. No need for the aca 500 plus in my eyes.

It mentions on the Individual Computer's website that the new ACA1233n supports the ACA 500 Plus. Surely that means it will come out soon. Thanks again.
