This is the first time ever that I started a new topic. Just wanted to show off my little girl Pumpkin as my new avatar. I took this pic with my digital cam when she was in the middle of flipping her head back and forth and so she looks like she has mental problems
anyone else have pics of their pets? Or am I the only one who is strange enough to have a lot of pics of his cat?
Just thinking if I ever change my avatar this thread will make no sense :-P

Just to complete the effect, since I too have an animal in my avatar ;-)
Hmm, I'm pretty sure I got away with just typing crappy the other day.
Edit: Yup!

Your new avatar reminds me of someone on a tv programme, but I can't for the life of me think who....
--2mins later Edit--
ok, it's not a tv programme at all, it's the video of "Virtual Insanity" by Jamiroquai :-D

Oh my god... It's so cool that you saw that! I didn't expect anyone to see it, but that's exactly what it was supposed to be. I used to scoot over to my mate's house to smoke weed, and we used to do dumb stuff to make each other laugh. So this one time I balanced my helmet on my head backwards and said "I'm Jamiroquai!" and everyone in the room was ROFL...
I was bored this morning so I took a picture of it.

And here's mine :-) Unfortunately I've lost him many years ago, and this is an old scanned photo.
My signature is for those who didn't like my cat... The cat was smart enough to find its way to home, and was very nice and cute, but there are always evil  people who don't like animals...

I've seen a small 5 year old tabby fight a 3.5 foot tall alsatian built like Arnie Scwarzenegger and win.
Cat's are the best :-)

Why Dogs Are Better Than Cats
1. Dogs will tilt their heads and try to understand every word you say. Cats will ignore you and take a nap.
2. Cats look silly on a leash.
3. When you come home from work, your dog will be happy and lick your face. Cats will still be mad at you for leaving in the first place.
4. Dogs will give you unconditional love until the day they die. Cats will make you pay for every mistake you've ever made since the day you were born.
5. A dog knows when you're sad. And he'll try to comfort you. Cats don't care how you feel, as long as you remember where the can opener is.
6. Dogs will bring you your slippers. Cats will drop a dead mouse in your slippers.
7. When you take them for a ride, dogs will sit on the seat next to you. Cats have to have their own private basket, or they won't go at all.
8. Dogs will come when you call them. And they'll be happy. Cats will have someone take a message and get back to you.
9. Dogs will play fetch with you all day long. The only thing cats will play with all day long are small rodents or bugs, preferably ones that look like they're in pain.
10. Dogs will wake you up if the house is on fire. Cats will quietly sneak out the back door.
-
Hm, T-Bone must have seen other cats than I have.
Cats like me. And are truthful to me.
Maybe because they sense it that I like them.
I've seen 'em being very social.
They only do not understand words.
-
RE: T_Bone
1. AFAIK cats and dogs can't speak english so they won't care what I say anyway
2. Of course they do, cats require a harness since their necks aren't built for leashes
3. My cat waits for me near the door and when I sit down she comes and rubs herself on my legs
4. ooook
5. When I'm sick my cat will always come lay near me
6. I don't wear slippers
7. Only very brave people take their cats for a ride outside of a cat carrier/pet taxi
8. If I call her name long enough pumpkin comes along
9. My cats play with their cat toys
10. No experience with that
:-)

free cat (http://www.ebaumsworld.com/freecat.html)
I should send this one to our good friends down at PETA.
-
A cat WILL wake you when the house's on fire. They sneak to you and wake you whith their cold nose touching your nose
And yes, a cat will leave a dead mouse in your slippers.
At least they hunt for mice. And they'll eat it with bones and hair when you don't give the cat too much food. True, I've seen it.

You know what else a cat will do? A cat will EAT you if it has no food, a dog will starve by your side.
(I'll find a link, an elderly woman was trapped in her house, unable to get up, and her cats started to eat her alive! her dog was found dead of starvation.)
:kitty: :destroy:
-
uhm, no, both cat and dog will eat you when you're dead.
For tis a pity to leave food to rot
But I think a human is too big for a cat, yet not too big for a dog to be eaten.
-
Dead, no! the woman was ALIVE!
cat's are pure Evil!

We shan't count the amount of serious incidents, alike the one you've mentioned, caused by agressive dogs shall we?

Nope.
-
In Finland, a few weeks ago, an old lady died. She had over 30 (!!!) cats. (I have seen over 10 cats in house but 30, that's some serious action.)
She died, and I don't know for how long she was dead, but the cats ate her because they couldn't find food.
Dogs aren't bad, but I prefer cats.

I forgot to add:
Cats crawl up on your chest at night and try to suck the soul right out out of your body while you sleep. Goddamn vampires.
Give a cat a litter box. The males will spray some of the most raw, foul, gut-bustinkimg cat funk you can imagnine all over the house. The females climb up and {bleep} in the potted plants.

Makes me miss mine (sniff). Poor Leonard was run over a fortnight ago.
He was the coolest cat ever, he never raised a claw to anyone, was trained to sit and beg for treats and absolutely loved indian food.

We just recently had a cat die, it was one we'd adopted, it was a wild cat that was fed randomly by different neighbors. It had a cut on his neck from scratching it, and when I went to look for it to take it to the vet I couldn't find it. Later my son found it in the barn, looked like it died of an infection from the cut.
