Running OS4.1FE Classic in FS-UAE 2.6.2 on Linux Mint 17.3, it likes to use a lot of CPU. I tried adding a line to slow it down, as follows...
uae_cpu_throttle = -500.0
This noticeably slows the emulation, but doesn't do much about the CPU usage.
Today, according to System Monitor, it's using around 180-200% regardless of what I do. It heats up the CPU, and keeps me from trying the emulation for long before I think I should quit. Is there anything I can do to fix this?
