Title: OS4.0
Post by: MPVarner on February 28, 2004, 01:32:44 PM
So what is the real deal. I see an add for it on the page. I've heard people have beta copies. Is any of that true, will it ship this year? I'm trying to decide between dumping my money in my A3000, or saving to get a ppc that will run the new OS. I'm curious as to what's the real scoop.

@MPVarner:

Yes it is true, in fact i am a betatester running it under my AmigaOne XE G4,something that i`m very proud of, if you ask me.There will be a developer`s prerelease soon enough, with developer tools and info,and if i recall correctly there is still going the "earlybird" offer that includes a free copy of OS4 with every A1 motherboard sold,but that is going to end soon, so be fast and you will get it included.
EDIT: there is already going aroung Europe and US, several shows have been made, showing it working, and there are available some videos, too.just search around a little.

Your site seems to just ask for donations, and doesn't seem to tell you how to donate :).  Where's the real content?

and if you sit and wait a few seconds it will redirect you to the "real content" as you so eligently put it.
