Title: BoingBox - New FPGA Computer via Crowdfunding
Post by: HaukeVB on May 28, 2016, 09:21:31 AM
As reported on amiga-news.de (http://www.amiga-news.de/de/news/AN-2016-05-00067-DE.html) (German only) there is a new crowdfunding project by Martin Schüler (Escena). Martin is known for his accelerators and work for Eyetech.

His BoingBox, although not specifically mentioning the Amiga, is planned to have perks such as Zorro III Adapter, A1200 Board  and A1200 Tower Z2 board.

'The platform is a experimental modular extensible FPGA- and processor system on the basis for current chip technologies and should allow for [experimentation]'

The project is in the Startphase and requires 100 fans to go to the financing phase.
