I am looking for SCSI diagnostic software for my A2000 WB 3.1. I need to make sure I can see all my SCSI devices IDs attached and the HD tools does not show some of this info. Any ideas what I could use?
Thanks

Should be loads on Aminet if you do a search for 'scsi' I should think. Someone else can perhaps point you to something more specific that they know is best.

It also depends on the SCSI Card that in your A2000. If the system came with a HDD then I suspect it's a CBM A2091 Controller card and may require that the ROMs be upgraded to Ver. 7.0 which was the version released by CBM.

I would start with "What info is it showing?" "What info is it not showing?" "What additional info do you need to know?" Etc.
That being said, I've used the 3.9 version of HDToolbox for years and never had any problems with it not telling me everything I needed to know. You might be able to run the 3.9 version on a 3.1 system? Or use a 3.9 boot floppy to access the newer version of HDToolbox, at least?
One other tool that I do use occasionally is Thomas's Check4Gb program. Maybe this is what you're looking for? http://thomas-rapp.homepage.t-online.de/downloads/check4gb.readme

I'd suggest SCSI_Inquire (http://amiga.serveftp.net/temp/SCSI_Inquire.lha).
And Q-Device (http://aminet.net/disk/misc/q-device.lha) from Aminet gives you more device specific detail. Needs MUI.

thank you Mike !

scsi_lister.lzh is good for basic info.
scsi_listv1.5.lha has more info
-
sysinfo, which you probably know, has info on the scsi bus as well

thank you
