Hi All, First issues is I have a Individual MK IIcr for my A1200 running at 1024 x 768 and
I would like to run at 800 x 600 but I can not figure out how to do that. Any advise?
Second issue is that I just installed BlitzBlank on my system but when I open the Prefs
file it does not show the modules... So can someone tell me how to point the prefs to find
the modules. They are in the same folder as the the Prefs in a Modules folder.
Much appreciated.

Indivision allows you to use three additional graphics modes: SuperPlus (800x600), HD720 (1280x720) , and HighGFX (1024x768). You'll need to download & install the drivers to use them. Some are on Aminet, some should come up with a Google search. If you have 3.9 + all the Boing Bags installed, you already have them - just drag them out of Storage and into the proper drawer with the rest of your screenmodes, then reboot.

The Indivision doesn't add any modes - it's a scan doubler and flicker fixer!

It allows you to use those modes. I own three of them, how many do you own? I don't have an AGA machine, so maybe it's different with the AGA model. Dunno. *shrugs*
Edit: From the description of HighGFX on Aminet:
You need a good display or a CompServ AGA flickerfixer for the A4000.
On the A1200 you need a good display or the new Indivison AGA flickerfixer.

I'm afraid it's a draw on this one...I own three too. So there! :p

Okay then, there's an easy way to test for yourself. Remove one. Try to display one of the screenmodes I listed. Does it work, or does it not? Even if it did, I shudder to think how badly something like 1024x768 would flicker without a scandoubler, and that's even assuming you could find a monitor that would sync that low. :p
-
The modes work also without Indivision installed, but good luck finding a monitor that will display them.
-
So, definitely no extra resolutions and colors with Indi+drivers?, just ordinary OCS, ECS or AGA specs with no flicker, right?
By some weird reason I was convinced that it supported colors >256 :(
-
Graffiti mode on the ECS.

My Microvitec displays the HighGFX 1024x768, but due to inadequate size controls on the monitor I couldn't get it to entirely fit on the screen. Flickers yes, if using with a CRT you'd certainly need a flicker fixer as it's interlaced.

Paul, I don't see how snipping adds anything to the conversation. I was asking for help.
Also anyone have an idea about my Blitzblank issue?
Thanks

In this thread here http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=70903 (http://www.amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=70903) you had issues with IBrowse Prefs which also uses MUI - I wonder if your MUI installation is somehow missing some files?
Have you tried re-installing MUI 3.8?
-
Thanks, but I think the issue in this case has to do with BlitzblankPrefs not being able
to find the path to the modules folder. Or I don't know where it's looking so I can put the
folder there.

Hi All, Okay, used Super72 and the IndividualPrefs to get an 800 x 614 screen.
Very nice, thanks...

If it can't find the Modules it simply shows 'Blackout' as the only blanker available...the Prefs program still loads.

Paul, Yes, that is correct...

There's a button in the main Prefs window allowing you to select the Modules path. Click that and point it to your Modules drawer which will be wherever you installed BlitzBlank to. If you're not sure how to get to it (I have no idea of your Amiga know how) then just drag the Modules drawer into the file requester and then press Ok or Select or whatever it says (I have turned it off now so I can't be more specific). Then press Save of course.
-
Okay Paul, I opened my eyes and finally saw where to open the requester and point to
the Modules. Thanks for hanging in there with me. I have only been using Amigas since
1988...Boy

I'm quite impressed with BlitzBlank, thanks for introducing me to it.
