Yes, ignore everyone who will tell you that Blitz is a bad choice and a waste of time and that you should really start with language blah, blah, blah...
And join the Blitz mailing list by emailing
blitz-list-help@netsoc.ucd.bawbags.ie
You probably already found it, but here's the Amiblitz site:
http://blitz2000.gazchap.com/
And good luck, enjoy the experience.

Any tips?
Yeah, start programming in C instead!

I have found the Blitz Basic 2000 site and I have printed some tutorials from it. I wish they were finished though...

You really do need to get on the Blitz mail list.
Unless you already have a fair knowledge of basic,
it can be hard to just get AmiBlitz up and running.
Get on the list and ask a few questions, the best
way to get started.

I have installed it and it runs well. And I know quite a lot basic. I have done loads of games in other Basic compilers. Any tips about libs to use? Are there any place with more advanced tutorials than those on Blitz 2000?
