Hope you have deep pockets, those won't be cheap if you find one.

Don't forget the TekMagic 2060. I think this was supposed to be the best.

Sold my Blizzard 2060 a few years ago for $500 to a guy in the U.K. that thought he was purchasing an accelerator for his A1200. Opens the box and... DUH!

(really wasn't funny at the time!)

No, because of missing FPU patcher - it just did use 68060.library. With MMU libs it's another story. But Blizzard2060 could be equipped with PPC...

I thought that the WildFire060 was the best 68060 accelerator card because it had a built-in 100 MHz Ethernet jack, plus a PCI-type header for a never-released graphics card.  I've got the DKB WildFire060.

There was never much support for the Wildfire.  It is a rarity to own but lacks the support that the TekMagic and Blizzard have.

I like my TekMagic 060, it runs stable up to 64 Mhz, but have it running at 50. Only downside is the filesystem, doesn't support RDB, or custom bootblocks. Heard there is a patched rom available which would make it even better. It is expensive but was worth the investment.

@ Rabbi you mean 100 Mbit ? how stable is it in action ? could you post some pics? That would be indeed a great card to have, due to the integrated Ethernet, saves a precious slot :)

I have a TekMagic 060 with the patched ROM, works great with PFS, and the person I got it from said it also works with SFS. I looked into the ROM modifications briefly when deciding to purchase it, AFAIR it was only a few bytes code that is publicly available (think there was a download link over on EAB). Fortunately mine was already done, since otherwise flashing custom ROM's for this thing is a bit outside my capabilities right now. Person I got mine from is a member here, maybe he can chime in with more insight into how the custom ROM's were made? :)

What are TekMagic 060's and Blizzard 2060's going for now?  I never seem to see them for sale often now.  I bought my TekMagic 10 years ago or longer in an A2000.  I will always remember receiving it because when it arrived all boxed up, I opened it and inside it was wrapped in an actual burlap sack for the initial protection.  I have to say that that was the only time I have received an item protected in that manner. lol
