Hi,
I've recently gotten back to Amigas after a long break. So in that process I'm giving all my remaining systems TLC and upgrades.
First up are my two Amiga500s, I've got an Indivision on order from AmigaKit and I've bought a SCART to HDMI device over the counter at a generic electronics store here in Oslo.
What games and test procedures should I put them through that can show you guys how they perform with the over-the-counter scandoubler?

So, I hope anyone has good suggestions for tests.
I'm going to do HAM, SuperFrong, Xenon-II and five fingers. But what else?

Perhaps test with things that are interlaced ? I

So. Just a quick test so far. This video is captured with Elgato HD60.
It's identical to what I see on the LCD screen. Including the lag in sound. I think that is maybe due to a poor HD installer of the game. Jump into 5 minute mark, it's really pronounced then.

Run 4d Sports driving (Stunts) on it :)

I suppose you could always try waterboarding.
I don't think any of them would survive that. ;)

LOL, I wonder if Jens' great customer service would have my back though? :D
Here is an NTSC agnus in the amiga, and I'm making a fool of my self in Xenon 2:

Both NTSC and PAL have the image tucked into the top right corner using the SCART-2-HDMI1 scandoubler. I suppose this is one of the tunable things with the Indivision ECS.
The Indivision ECS is EUR 99,96, the DELTACO SCART-2-HDMI1 is EUR 69,60.
One is Amiga specific with useful extra features. With the DELTACO you still need an extra Amiga specific cable that's an extra EUR 18.
Indivisions (various versions)
- Cost about EUR 100
- Model spesific
- Open your amiga and fit it.
- Vendor software to tweak the image
- Compatible with extra screen monitor drivers
DELTACO SCART-2-HDMI1
- Cost about EUR 70
- Can be used with all Amigas, needs amiga spesific cable. Sold separately or home made. About EUR 20
- No opening your Amiga (warranty of Amiga not voided :laugh1:)
- No adjustments to the picture
About a EUR 10 price difference. I'll install Deluxe paint and more yet, and get to test HAM and interlace. I think Pinball Dreams will be good for the horizontal scrolling, and SuperFrog for scrolling in all directions.

Try Kid Chaos or Uridium 2 for a serious speedtest

Great video! Almost makes me a bit nostalgic for 1.3, I can't remember now the last time I used it. :(
Also excellent summary chart. Before I got a graphics card I frequently used the Indivision 800x600x16 color screenmode on my A2000. I still use it on my A500. That alone would make the Indivision worth it to me, not to mention that they're a much cleaner / built-in / no big "dongle" on the desk setup, compared to something external. But I suppose some folks don't care about that stuff. ;)
