the cd-rom have a ben pin
the cd-rom is a NEC cd-3002a
before I try to strait it just want to sure this as not been done for compatibility reason

It's GND-pin. Should work anyway since it's a common ground. Still I would recommend to bend it back but that is just my OCD :P

Should be able to bend it back. Use a small screwdriver to pull it away from the edge of the plastic connector shield then use a needle nose pliers to straighten it. get it in line with the pins above it and to the side of it and it should line up with the hole when you plug in the cable. Push the cable in just a little, then back it out and look in again to see if the pin is bending. If not you are golden, if it is straighten again with the pliers and try again
You can tell I have done this before, right?

Had to do this more than once on the pcmcia port on multiple pins, bent loads of pins over the years

Had to do this with an AMD and resolder three pins :-|
Nightmare.
