So the creator of the firmware would rather people not sell the drives pre-flashed. Did he contact Ebay of America so they would restrict all sales of it in that case? The only ones I see for sale pre-flashed are from across seas or Canada.

Better question: Would eBay even care? They allow this to happen all the time with copies of firmware and software.

If you search for usb floppy emulator you will find the normal gotek which can have cortex or hxc firmware added or just oem firmware.

Yes if you look it appears that only Ebay America is putting bans on these if they are pre-flashed. I see no one in the US selling them pre-flashed.
That is just strange...
