I have following setup:
Amiga 3000D, Buster 11, CS MK2 060, FastATA (latest version, don't remember exact numbers) & Cybervision 64 4MB with jumper JP1 open.
Picasso drivers show me 8bit, 16bit & 32bit modes. 8bit & 16bit work fine. 32bit gives following behaviours: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJUkVfVA4FI. Cybergraphx 4 has similar behaviour.
Always the right half of the screens shows weird stuff.
I have already made sure the memory chips are fully seated in their sockets. Are these 32bit modes not supported or is something wrong with my card?

this card was never intended to do 32bit modes that i know of, if it did it would so slow it would unuseable. check the specs here:
http://amiga.resource.cx/exp/cybervision64
1024x768x24bit is likely the highest useable mode with tradeoff on speed and screensize.
1280x1024x16 might be useable.

OK, that's what I started to think already. But how come I can create 8bit, 16bit & 32 bit "A" modes with the Picasso96 tool, but no 24 bit mode, which is supposed to be supported? I guess it's me. But I cannot find any how to guide for dummies like me :)

Looks like Big Book has a typo
In the text it says
" It has a pixel clock of 135Mhz (8bit), 80Mhz (16bit) and 50Mhz (24bit) "
But below on screenmodes it says
" 1024 x 768 32Bit 75Hz
800 x 600 32Bit 75Hz "
