This link is a "Heads Up" post since Amibay membership is dominated by U.K. and E.U. buyers. Amibay membership is required to participate so non-Amibay members please disregard:

Ok, so U.K. opinion poll and upcoming vote are just a hoax. But was U.K. really always 100% E.U.?
If you work in U.K. do you get paid in GBP or EURO? Maybe one foot in the E.U. door and one foot out is a better way to describe the situation.
P.S. I'm not being critical of this policy, the U.S. does exactly the same thing whenever possible. :laugh1:

Yes, I though I explained that clearly enough on the Amibay thread. :)

The UK is in the EU, but not in the euro zone. Some people think that you have to be in the euro zone to be in the EU, they are wrong. Some people think they could say that you didn't have to be in the euro zone to be in the UK, but thought if they waited long enough they would be able to manipulate the UK into joining. They were wrong too.
History has shown us that currencies come and currencies go. Contrary to what most people believe, the euro is not the first European currency. I don't expect it will be the last. I don't believe it's even the longest running.
I still find it amazing that you don't need to pay any import duty or vat when transferring products between EU countries.

When I typed E.U. in an older post, I was just trying to save my self the time and effort of typing Europe. It's truly amazing how a small typing miscue can cause a thread to go mega OT... :laugh1:
