Working Amiga 500+ motherboard, expanded to 2 MB chipRAM without trapdoor expansion.
Kickstart 2.04 37.175, Denise 8362, Agnus 390544-01.
Original 0,5 MB version, no clock components, no battery.
http://amiga.resource.cx/photos/gallery/a500rev8a-2.jpg
For sale only the complete motherboard without steel shield. No swap, no other.
90 Euro + shipping to Europe 13 Euro. Paypal gift only.
-
So, you're saying this is the cost reduced A500, as in 8.A1.
NOT the A500+.
-
Nooooo. A500+ = 2 MB Agnus. A500 = 0,5 or 1 MB Agnus.
Normal A500+ = 2 MB Agnus + 1 MB RAM
My A500+ = originally 2 MB Agnus + 0,5 MB RAM, cost reduced A500+.
Now 2 MB RAM. Did not produce 2 MB A500+.
2 MB RAM = A500++. I made a unique and rare product.
-
Why is it that so many sellers need to be reminded that we don't know where you are, so we don't know if shipping to where we are is going to be an issue?
-
The shipping cost real, priority registered letter from Europe to Europe. Motherboard + box = 900-950 g. Max. 1000 g = 13 Euro.

Do not write nothing, if my product does not interest you.
I advertise a rare expanded motherboard.
They never produced motherboard with 2 MB chipRAM. It's not funny.

You posted a blurry picture that's 300 pixels wide. How's anybody supposed to make an informed buying decision based on that? I'm trying to help you. :p
In particular, don't you think people would want to see a close-up of the modified area of your board, or maybe some pictures of it working?

The price is going up? :)

Yes, I found this, 103 €: http://www.ebay.de/itm/Amiga-500-Plus-Board-mit-2MB-Chipram-/111908141752
Old version modding with 16 chips. My method is much better, 4 chips only. My motherboard real price min. 110-120 €.

The "real price" is whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Good luck with your auction! :)

Whats the benefit over this mod and just putting a trap door expansion in? Either way you get 2MB chip RAM as it's an A500 plus.

The original 1 MB A500 motherboard expensive and rare (1 piece/month), 60-65 Euro + shipping, and 99% battery problem. look:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Commodore-Amiga-500-plus-mit-viel-Zubehor-Speed-Maus-Joysticks-Netzteil-uvm-/182032775062
The 0,5 MB 8A A500+ motherboard expensive and even rarer, 55 Euro + min. 10 Euro shipping, no battery problem.

The 1 MB A500+ trapdoor chipRAM expansion expensive and rare (1 piece/month), 60-70 Euro + min. 10 Euro shipping.
60 Euro: http://www.ebay.de/itm/1MB-RAM-Memory-Card-RA5-1MB-Speichererweiterung-in-OVP-fur-Amiga-500-Z6G000-/221948997679

1 MB motherboard (not complete A500+ machine!) + 1 MB expansion + 2 shipping = min. 145 Euro.
My 2 MB motherboard 100 Euro + 13 Euro shipping only. Cheap.
My motherboard original 0,5 MB version without battery+clock, battery problem impossible.

This not HAHA, 103 euro, old version expansion, 16 chips, repair = hard. http://www.ebay.de/itm/Amiga-500-Plus-Board-mit-2MB-Chipram-/111908141752
My motherboard new version, 4 chips only, repair = easy.
I would be able to sell the motherboard on ebay.de below 3 days min. 100-110 euro. I do not want to pay fees.

With no clock cirquitry on the A500+ motherboard, you have to decrease the price with at least €30,-! :biglaugh:

You are not funny. The battery and clock circuit is not important. Who uses the clock?
I advertise a rare, expanded product. Everybody only provokes, nobody wants to shop.
I need only 1 buyer in Europe. This not problem.
The price may increase only, will not decrease.
The price of the retro Amiga products rises since years. Look my message 19.
-
...Who uses the clock?...
I do.
-
I do.
What do you use it for? Where is the time important?
The ACA 500, 12xx, 13xx cards = no battery, no clock circuit.
Clock port here only: https://icomp.de/shop-icomp/en/shop/product/aca1221.html
ACA1221 upgrades: https://icomp.de/shop-icomp/en/shop/product/aca1221-upgrades.html
RTC module to ACA1221 (no ACA500!): https://icomp.de/shop-icomp/en/shop/product/rtc-module.html
You have to buy a ACA500 + min. a ACA1221 card, if you want a fast machine with big RAM expansion + RTC, etc.. My motherboard good basis to an expanded machine.
My motherboard with 2 MB chipRAM 110 euro, ACA500 plus 130 euro (summer 2016), ACA1221 available now, default 9 MB, 17 MHz 68020, no maprom 80 euro. All upgrades (28 MHz, 64 MB, maprom) = 40 euro.
RTC module 20 euro. Sum. 380 euro only.

I would only buy an Amiga 500 if it had the ORIGINAL clock. Now that Commodore's craftsmanship was removed, its no longer original and will probably make me late for work, I might burn dinner, backups might kick off at the wrong time etc :-(
I'll offer one American dollar.

I did not remove the clock components from the motherboard. The motherboard is original. Look:
http://amiga.resource.cx/photos/gallery/a500rev8a-2.jpg
I install the clock components (I desolder from the bad A500+ motherboard) for 15 Euros.
-

...
It's important if I make and back-up files. Your A500+ CR motherboard is not original anymore due to hacking it.
Also, coughing up all those ACA cards is irrelevant.

The picture you are referring to is a picture stored at amiga resource. And has been for quite some time.
What does that have to do with the motherboard you are selling?
Post a picture of your motherboard in a GOOD quality (not for ants) so people can compare them....
If you are a serious trader. post pictures of the motherboard connected to monitor, power and keyboard.
You must in some way prove its working condition.
-
I hate to keep picking on you, but why don't you post a real picture of the motherboard you hacked, instead of just linking to Amiga Resource website?
I don't know how they do it where you are, but if you're trying to sell some hacked/modded project over here, you'd have much better luck (and interest) if you posted actual photographs. ;)
Edit: D'oh. Missed the comment right before mine. ;)
-
I show (amiga.resource) the original state of the advertised motherboard.
The modifications of the RAM expansion are built in only.
Look pics on 6, 10, 11 message in this topic. 100% working.
I use this in my machine now. Whdload programs OK with 4 MB fastRAM expansion.
I am not a dealer. The manner of the 2 MB modification is not public (ant pic).
The number of the motherboards limited, because heavy (2-3 months/1 piece) to find a suitable motherboard (rev. 8A 0,5 MB version).
-
So what you're saying is, somebody needs to take their chances with what they get from you, because you're unwilling to post pictures of it. Good luck with that...

The pics available. I am not a swindler.
Nobody buys it from me, if everybody sees the manner of the modification. Anybody builds it.
Why do you write to me if you do not want to shop?

Why i write. im interested. but it is out of the question to put money on anything i don't know what is.
I don't think there's a lack of interest.
But you are unable to comply to any requests.
That puts you in a situation that everybody considers you an unserious seller.

Stick it on eBay and be done with it then. See how many bids you get when you refuse to post pictures, lol.

no further comment.......

Nobody will be shopping if I show a big picture. I don't understand why important how I did the modification. Not hack, neat work.
