Title: ProAgnus SS2
Post by: curtis on December 15, 2015, 11:46:48 PM
Anybody know anything about this unit?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/321945821045

Big Book and Hardware Database don't have much info.

Price seems rather steep.  Especially with no directions and sold AS-IS.

And it doesn't even have the Obese Agnus chip. I personally wouldn't buy it.

Yes, some red lights there.. no idea if its pal or ntsc, missing agnus, and poss. no docs to where the wiring goes. it looks like it may even need some clocks from the board?

probably better off with a dkb megachip or some such.

i did find this on bboah:   http://www.bigbookofamigahardware.com/bboah/product.aspx?id=816

Yeah, the BBOAH is the only place I've found with ANY info.

Kind of interesting it needs VCC and ground via wires and doesn't tap the signals from the Agnus socket.

I was wondering if anyone has actually seen/used one in the wild?
