Hi:
I have a nice playstation 3 system with great games for it.
I have been playing diablo 3 for many months.
I love the game, but just realized old games for amiga
and c64 did not need months of hard work to win.
I love diablo, but I also love the old amiga games.
I really miss the times spent playing amiga games.
So from now on, I am going to play games on my amiga
half of the time, then the other half in the playstation.

I spend about half my game time with Amiga games. I'd like to see more amiga games with WHDLoad installs. The more there are to try out and play the better.

Being no game player otherwise, I miss japanese RPGs of the Phantasy Star kind (Sega). Later on I played "Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance" 1 + 2, but after that one, it seems, this kind of games became extinct.
While I bought, due to the hype, some other kind of game a couple of years ago - Skyrim - I didn't play it much beyond a couple of minutes. Not only due to lack of spare time, but also because it is way too complicated.
Thus in case you have any recommendations for something Phantasy Star style (PS2 or PC), I'd be grateful - although I wouldn't have time for actually playing it before summer anyway.

Same here, L4D2 and BF3 on PC and Amiga.

Oh I miss these times too!
Teenage years, no responsibility, tons of time, little money but not much to worry !:drink:

Not needing months? Ive been stuck and struggeled for ages completing point and click adventures on Amiga over the years xD Also tons of RPGs from Ultima to the eye of the beholder have eaten big chunks of my life ;) Then we have management games that stretch on forever and heck Civilization on Amiga has absorbed a fair hundreds of hours gameplay. Dont get me started on the Elite games, jesus they can be played forever. Even Speris the legacy has eaten tons of hours and I havn't completed that one yet.
So yeah many games even of old can suck much time, same of todays games, there are plenty of few hours to complete single player games and tons of hour eating games like the elder scrolls/fallout series etc.
All about what genre you pick, old or new both have short and long games and many games can be short or long depending on your playstyle.
Amiga ain't all short platformers and racers you know.
Why limit yourself to only playing modern games or Amiga games? There are tons of incrediable games on so many systems from all eras!
