Introducing new game from Amiman99 made with Backbone called "Jump Block Jump!"
The game plays similarly to other "run and jump" games popular on mobile platforms.
It requires precise jumps and some memorization.
The game contains 11 levels and it's playable on Amiga CD32 and other 020 Amigas.
Do to the fact that Backbone's speed depends on CPU speed, it is recommended to play the game on stock CD32 and plain A1200.
I have play tested the game on CD32, A600 030 25MHz, and A1200 030 50MHz.
The game was primarily tested on A1200 030 50MHz and the feel of the game is perfect, so if you are for a challenge try it on faster machine.
I'm providing 2 versions, one ISO for CD32 and second for other Amigas.
Fixed versions Rev9
Fixed some level design and spelling.

Good luck and enjoy.

Reminds me a bit "the impossible game", and given the frugality of it i suspect optimizations can be made

Yes, it's a basic clone of this and other games.

Hey Amiman99, I can't run your game yet because I am in the process of a system re-install, but I think its great your working on this and in backbone. I plan on doing some backbone dabbling myself. As soon as I get up and running I will send you some feedback.

Haven't tried this one yet, but if you want to check out a couple other fun Backbone games there's Tales of Gorluth (commercial), and Boxx2 (free). Backbone is notorious for being pretty slow, even on expanded systems, but what I like about that latter one is it only uses an 8-color screen, so is pretty quick. :)
Should probably have a list of other Backbone games around somewhere. Anyone?

Can I purchase a download of Tales of Gorlith 1? Will there be any more cd's produced?

Thanks, and be careful, the game is hard.

It's available to buy on Amistore but no 68k version of Amistore. Do you know anyone with OS4 that couldd help facilitate a purchase.

Afraid not. What a shame, I'd like to purchase it too.
