Hi All,
I need a serial cable that connects one end to a CD32 and one end to an A1200. So
I can use my CD32 as a dummy CD drive and have my PCMCIA port free for Ethernet.
Does any one have an idea where I can get this cable. I did have one and used it back
in 1993 but that is long gone.
Thanks for all the input.
Brad

Hi, if you are handy with soldering, there is a project on aminet. http://aminet.net/package/docs/hard/CD32-Amiga11
If someone can confirm the copyright status of network cd2 and the boot floppy, I might be able to help you with a copy.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not sure this is what I need, the CD32 has a special serial connector not standard so one ends needs to be a standard serial port and one end needs to be for the CD32 port.

I just checked the .iff file and it shows a connector for the cd32's AUX port in the image.
I still have one of these cables but sadly no cd32 at the moment. I remember using it pre-CD ROM on my A1200 and it was slow and unstable.

So Andy,
Can you check the cable and see if it as a Part No. on it or other Identification.
Thanks
