Title: News Comment Counts on the Front Page
Post by: rhino on February 23, 2004, 03:49:47 PM
Hi Folks,

I generally like the new design/features especially with the new header (although rather to my surprise the brown one was begining to grow on me).

Anyway I had one suggestion/request. Would it be possible to add the current comment count and perhaps the date of the last comment to the Recent News items on the front page? It's handy to be able to see at a glance whether items I'm interested in have new comments without visiting the news page.

I understand you're not able to change XOOPS but if there is an option to add the comment count field to that display it would be great.

Thanks

Robert

I apologize, but while we'll put it on the list, it's not really possible right now.  We'll be glad to look into adding it later.

you can see the comments counts if you hit the NEWS link so it lists only the news items. that works ok for me at the moment.
