Title: CD32 smells like burning plastic and sound is low
Post by: orb85750 on August 08, 2015, 12:26:09 AM
I was expecting to open it up and find leaky capacitors, but everything on the motherboard appears to be pristine.  Any suggestions?

Capacitors would have my first guess as well. Did you try touching components to see if anything is hotter than normal?

I'd say dried up caps, it's not as obvious to spot as leaking/buldging ones.
