Title: want some blizzard SCSI kit info
Post by: kvasarnomad on February 22, 2004, 08:01:22 PM
I have heard(in the forum) that you can use an external scsi cd-rom drive with Blizzard 1240 + Blizzard SCSI kit IV without having to swith to an tower case, if so Im planning to buy the above soon.
My question is how and where do you connect the cd-rom.
Through the PMCIA slot or what? :-?
and where are the SCSI controller connected.

are there any sites where I can see how it looks.

The SCSI kit gives you a DB25pin connector in the empty space next to your mouse port. All you need is a cable to connect that to an external CD-ROM case, and you're all set (aside from CDFS stuff). If the CD drive doesn't auto terminate, you'll need to plug a ternimator into the other port on the CD drive.

Try The Unofficial Blizzard 1260 Page:
