He has a few retro videos, one of them is about digital illusions.

Yes thanks. I watched the vid and its very good. First FPS I ever saw on the Amiga was Captive which was one he didn't mention.

That was a blast from the past! :)

Was Robocop 3 really that slow? I remember it as being much faster. :/

Although not an FPS, Legends Of Valour managed to pull off a 3D texture mapped world on low end Amiga systems in 1993.  While it's a bit jerky but it's certainly no slideshow.
