Title: Picasso IV CD ROM Audio - Where?
Post by: danwood on May 19, 2015, 06:10:29 PM
Hi, I'm trying to get my Picasso IV to output audio from my CD-ROM.  I've got a cable which looks to be wired properly, and works on another machine.

But the online manuals look blurry and I have an earlier 1.2 board which doesn't have the connectors labelled.

From what I can see, It's supposed to attach here?

But when playing CDs I get no audio from it.  Amiga Paula audio passes through the output fine, but I get nothing from the CD drive.

Any idea, or is it the wrong connector?  It looks to be this one on the later, labelled board:

Or do I need some software to switch, mix or enable the CD audio?

Actually never mind, didn't realise I needed to use AudioSelect on the utilities disk to select the CD ROM source (wasn't mentioned in the manual!).
