Title: Amiga 1080 schematic now on-line!

Back in January, I was asking for a schematic of Amiga 1080 in order to help out Ray Carlsen in his repair of that monitor.  See the original thread at

Ray was able to repair the monitor without a schematic.  However, a kind soul later sent him the large, paper schematic, and Ray scanned it and has now made it available at his site.  Go to

Just got a 1080 Monitor on eBay to replace the one my ex-wife threw out (!!!!!!), and it's blowing fuses.  This link to the schematic doesn't seem to be active.  Anyone have the file?

However, it shows a 3A main fuse and 10W 5.6ohm ceramic main resistor on the schematic, whereas mine is 5A fuse and 7W 3.3ohm! Anyone else have a 1080 that shows a 5A fuse and 7W 3.3 ohm resistor?

I'll be darned!  The guts of my 1080 appears to be a 1902 (based on the schematics)! OK, I'm completely confused... 

In his text document for 1080, Ray said:
"The 1080 was made by Toshiba and is unlike any other CBM monitor.
My other schematics will not substitute. Note that it is nearly identical
in outward appearance and features to Commodore monitor models 1902 (non-A
model) and 1084 made by NAP (Philips). However, the internal construction,
components and board numbers are completely different."

Did someone stick a 1902 in a 1080 enclosure?
