I have put my desktop 4000 PSU up on eBay. I replaced the original fan with a regular PC fan (the old one seized,) bypassed or removed (can't remember which) the limiting resistor so it runs full-speed, and removed the air intake grill. This has made it much quieter even with the exhaust fins still intact.

I am not offering shipping outside of US and Canada. It's just too much of a pain in the ass, or at least not as easy as just printing a label and sticking the box out.

And, gone! That was fast.

Duh its gone, the price was $20!

Obviously reasonably priced ;) I want to clear out stuff I'm not using without raping my fellow Amigoids.
Over the course of the couple of months I will probably have more to go.

Priced like that won't even leave a vapor trail, just the sonic boom as it disappears

About time someone did this, one gets tired of over inflated prices. The worse part is people seeing them as normal.
-
Define a "normal" price from an "over inflated" price taking into account availability, as inquiring minds want to know how you determine this,

Yup and if it was snagged up by a certain couple of people who shall not be named it will be right back up on Ebay for 3x the $20

Yep, and so begins the over priced cycle. That's why I've been slowly replacing what I can with modern hardware.
ATX Adapters, USB connections etc. I'm glad Jens and a couple of other players are releasing new hardware that helps too.

I would be exceptionally pissed if any of my reasonably-priced items wind right back up for sale at ass-reaming profit, and I will quickly call said person out publicly for it and ban said person from future items. If I have to restrict my items to AO so I can be more discriminating in order to keep people from profiteering I most certainly will.
Before the firestorm of "free market" and "capitalism" starts, I will kill it dead with the statement that there is nothing wrong with either and profiteering is neither.
The end.
