It seems that TV Paint is freely available, but needs a real amiga with floppies to install. I'd like to install it on my emulators like Amithlon. Is there a way to obtain it in a more uncompressed state? I do have a wideband connection. Thanks for any help!

mmm, ok, its impossible then..

Give me your Email address and I'll send the LHA which you only need
to un-arc somewhere.
Do you want full TV Paint or TV Paint Jr?
The full one is about 5Mb compressed, Jr fits on 1 floppy.

Right On Castellen..I PM'd my email address to ya.

You can also freely download the full TVPaint package from the Amiga University site at the link below:

Got it thanks, I'll send it shortly.
If your mail account can't handle huge attachments, let me know and
I'll make it available by FTP.

Now that I think of it, I am not sure if I can handle
a 5 meg email. I can ask support tomorrow, or ftp..

@Colmiga..
I did download the full package from Amiga University, but the text files say i need to do the floppy install, but I have no real amiga. :-?
-
If they are DMS files then use the DMS2HD package available from Aminet.
I did that when I installed TVPaint from that archive and it worked fine for me.

@Colmiga:
You can probably use RAD: as well.
Though I'm not sure how some of those kind of things work under UAE.
@Lo:
I think it was about 6Mb in total, but I didn't get a bounce from it,
so looks like it went through OK.
