More commonly known as the Commodore 65:

Estimates as to the actual number of machines found on the open market range from 50 to 2000 units.
If it's in the higher range that's a hefty price for the C65.
Would want it in my collection :) but for those amount I'll pass xD

I supposed that now we'll get a lot of clueless people trying to sell their normal C64s on eBay with astronomic starting bids.
I suppose if they dig out of their closet one of the late wedge shaped C64Cs (compact models) they'll think they've hit a gold mine.
-
Amazing. And Kesa, haven't seen you around for a while.

I don't think it's worth that much. I'd say bout $3000 at most.
-
Grapevine Group was selling a bunch of 65s in various states of operation for between $200 and $400 back in the day. I kick myself every time I see something like this, or read about the 65 because I didn't buy one.

I wish one would fall into the hands of someone who could build a FPGA version Id gladly put some cash down if there was a kickstarter or something.

Nico Clone (USA) was at 20.000 EUR, and he lost for 50.EUR :(
The winner is a German fanatic of the C65!

It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it! :hammer:

€20? :)

So apparently anywhere from 20 to 200 where made?
Is someone holding a secret stash of 'em, waiting to sell 'em little by little at around 20k each?
-
Yes ! It's my retirement plan and I am keeping them right next to my Apple I boards
-
With that kinda cash this guy needs to um, resurrect commodore...

You might want to reach out to this guy and do what you can to help. I already reached out to him and put him in touch with someone with extraordinary expertise.

That's the definition for sure. What other people would pay for something is often confused as worth.
