So I've been trying for awhile to get my Video Toaster working but always get a sync error...However, I realized I somehow missed the point that if you don't have an RGB monitor connected (I use a vga monitor via indivision) that the toaster will not sync, so you have to use an RGB terminator. What are they?? I can't even fined mention of one on the internet...Would an external genlock work also??

I assume you'd just have to tie the R,G and B signals to ground through 75 ohm resistors. :hammer:

My understanding of this issue was that you needed an RGB terminator for the Toaster itself (e.g., if you don't have something hooked up to the program or preview outputs). Can't remember the exact specs, but it's a cheap BNC part. One of the old Toaster FAQs should have the information (I always liked this site (http://www.rabayjr.com/Amiga/Flyer_Faq/toaster/ta2000.html) but it seems to be down at the moment; might have to access it through the Wayback machine at archive.org).
