Title: Commodore 1571 Drive

I got a 1571 from a friend. When I turn it on the motor keeps running, is this normal?
A 1541 that I have runs a little while and quits.
These are not hooked up to a computer.

No, it should run a little while and then stop.

Thanks, I guess that schematic will come in handy that I downloaded.
