Does anyone know if this program is any good??? and where i can get a copy.....thanks

Sorry I've never heard of that program, I tend to use OctaMED v4.0, but my copy came on an Amiga magazine cover disk many years ago.

Octamed Sound Studio is freely downloadable as far as I know if your interested in trying another program for MIDI sequencing.

thanks for the reply...i will search for sound studio like you reccomended...:)

I think midi quest was a program that let you edit external synths patches via midi....but i cannot quite remember!

OctaMED Soundstudio is the best Amiga tracker/MIDI sequencer and should be looked at by anyone into Amiga music. The other MIDI sequencer worth a look is Bars & Pipes which a guy called Alfred Faust has updated and is available from his website. Sorry can't remember the address but do a google and it's there I think.

Not knocking OctaMED, but most studio musicians that I
know who do MIDI sequenceing, use Bars&Pipes Pro.
OctaMED is a fine program, but I believe its better
geared toward the "tracker" style of music that
was so popular in Amiga's heyday.

Yes I agree Bars & Pipes is a much better purely MIDI affair (OctaMED has terrible problems with continuous MIDI data) but OctaMED is simply the best if you want MIDI and Amiga samples at the same time.
