Has anyone controlled an PC from an Amiga?
After hooking an Amiga to a PC via parallel port could one hook the Amiga Serial Port to a PC PS2 port?

I believe there's an RDP app floating around somewhere that would allow you full control. What is it that you're trying to do?

It is basically a curiosity from the days of parnet cable, etc.
Okay, I would like to make a PC a sort of coprocessor.
Maybe I could have two monitors or one pc monitor and have the Amiga display on it.
I thought I would cause trouble and stuff like that. :D

Maybe, the PC could have Amithlon on it.

Good luck with your project. ;)

The Siamese System, using a SCSI connection, was a better solution at the time:

That would be awesome.
I wonder if a tv card in linux is a good alternative.
I wish there was a minimig that would fit into a 3.5" drive bay.

@Mike: Thanks, I have other projects I hope to do this year.

I have used Amiga to control remote machines for ages through various dirty tricks. For example I have somewhere a module for DOpus 5.x to play music files on the Amiga on for example a Linux machine. It uses a dopus lister as playlist and has buttons for play, pause, stop, skip back and forth, volume up and down etc.

With UAE on Linux I make so called fifo files with attached daemon scripts that listens for data and commands from the Amiga side. Also you can expose /sys and /proc for the emulator and pretty much control the entire kernel from within UAE.

Have you tried TwinVNC. Available on Aminet and free on PC.
I downloaded it but didn't get it working.
-
Works fine with a VNC/RDP client/server setup.

@Duce What is the Amiga side requirements?
Has anyone tried these?
