Title: A600 Kickstart in CDTV?

I have recently bought my long time amiga-crush, a CDTV, and now I would like to put it to use. On the roadmap is a hard drive but first I'd like to upgrade the kickstart so I can use Workbench 3.1.

Would an A600 3.1 kickstart be okay or do I need o specifically find one for an A500?

Hi!

Very nice machine that is, and all A500/600/2000 ROMs will work but you definitely need to find newer Extended Roms (two chips V2.30 / V2.7 for kickstart 3.1 or 2.x) before Kickstart ROM upgrade, otherwise you'll lose CD-ROM support. Good luck with your newfound Amiga!
