It's become a bit of a tradition , in my mind at least, to do a hand painted Christmas card and more recently make a video of the process. So here's this years! The original idea was to make myself into FC so I started with playing with some of SketchBlock image processing tools, it didn't quite go to plan so I ended up with a more generic Father Christmas.
Painted in SketchBlock Lite (2.8) on my Amiga One X1000. Captured with a EZCap HD attached to the spare HDMI output on the gfx card. Timelapse editing done in blender to reduce from 45 mins to 4 mins. The audio track recorded on the SAM 440 Flex in Audio Evolution on my Matthew Carter acoustic guitar via a Rode NT1-A mic mixed with the output from the Line 6 Pod Pro. Audio and video then combined with FFMpeg GUI. on the X1000.

SketchBlock Lite is my HDR (high dydnamic range) painting program for AmigaOS 4.1 update 5 and above.
It's avalable to buy on AmiStore , more inof about the program here http://www.broad.ology.org.uk/docs/amiga/sketchblock/
SketchBlock Pro 3.0 is in the works and will support images larger than available memory, and many more filters and tools.

I added some animated snow with PPaint 7.3a
I did intend to make a short video on animating in PPaint but ran out of time (I'm already late!) so here's the gis instead, bit cheesey I know, but it's christmas!
