I use Camtasia screen recording software to make video tutorials all the time for my office.  Obviously this is a PC-only tool.  But didn't you say in another thread you were using WinUAE?

I am not familiar with "camtasia", but would think that most/all Windows screen recording software should work if you start the recording and then use Alt+Tab to switch to a running WinUAE/AmigaForever instance that has Aladdin4D running on it.

Yes.  What Dave said.  There's nothing special about WinUAE.  Just start up any Windows screen capture software and switch to the Amiga screen.  Later you can cut out the part of the video where it shows you switching, so it shows just the Amiga bit.  It can also do zooms to focus on specific parts of the screen, and lots of other features.  I believe there's a trial available on their website.

I'd recommend FRAPS, personally.  It's cheaper and easier to use than Camtasia, IMO.  While FRAPS is billed as mainly for benchmarking and recording game footage, it works just fine for general purpose stuff.

Camtasia has a lot of video editing add-ons with it, but it's expensive.  $299 for the registered version.  FRAPS is only $37.

You'll want a regged version of whatever you choose most likely, as the demo versions either limit your video length or add God awful looking watermarks.

A lot of people recommend Bandicam or Ezvid as well, but I've had good luck with FRAPS myself.

Worse comes to worse, just search Google for "best free fraps alternatives", no lack of results on that.

Funnily enough youtubers would have good recommendations. You could post some questions there in the comments?

Yes, FRAPS can record voice/audio by default, just a matter of specifying which input (s) under recording options.
