Hi, I would really like to be able to purchase the old AmigaDOS manuals and some programming manuals in digital format. Then I could buy and download them. Is this possible?

There's a few sites out there that already have nearly every manual imaginable in downloadable PDF format. Here's one from off the top of my head:

Or did you mean something that you could actually purchase, i.e., for a Kindle or something? That's going to be a lot harder, i.e., copyright blah blah that people bring up on this site all the time. ;)

I always prefer printed books, manuals, magazines, etc., over digital alternatives, though I know that digital is easier to store, move with me from place to place and can be edited, modified, or combined with other digital texts in ways that printed documents cannot. I guess I am just too "Old School" when it comes to written information, and I will eventually get more used to flipping screens, or scrolling through text in a small side window on a computer screen, while working on something, instead of having a printed manual or book next to my keyboard or monitor on the desk, while working on the computer.
I respect the copyrights of those who originally created, or published informational texts, and I really dislike the attitudes that some Amiga users display regarding old software, or information, which they think should be free, just because it is not currently relevant, or actively being updated. This "Entitlement" attitude is something I will never understand.
One of the manuals (actually a book) I would really like to see reprinted, or updated and then published for sale, is Ralph Babel's Amiga Guru book. It is almost impossible to find an English printed copy of this book anymore, and although the information it contains is outdated in many areas, it is still one of the best sources of information about AmigaDOS, and many other Amiga topics, for people who want to learn about the Amiga from beginning to end.

I also respect copyright, but there should be a reasonable limit, they have made all the money that they WANT to make from the software, so after a grace period of say, 10 years from last date of commercialisation, copyright should either be sold on or terminated.

I have about 4300 manual files (Games, hardware, schematics) weighting about 20GB on my file server up for grabs :)
I am still sorting it on the file server but pretty much everything should be in right category at least :)

I used to prefer printed manuals and publications, but I've lost a good portion of my eyesight over the last ten years - having all these in PDF form is an absolute godsend for me. I've got a couple thousand magazines, manuals, etc , all in PDF form on my tablet.

What browser are you using, I have had several downloads since I posted this from that link without problems, replace space with % and see if that helps.
You should not get that response at all but a 404 if page is not found so looks strange, ill remove the hidden tag on the folder from main page so you can see the "som99" folder from som99.se and navigate to amiga manuals.
I will check the Snort logs on my pfSense machine to see if some auto bans occured due to "(http_inspect) BARE BYTE UNICODE ENCODING" or something.
I have a dedicated machine for torrents uploading 24/7 on private retro trackers but the reason I put it on my file server (also has FTP access) is because I use the web server for more things so it's allready up and running and adding new content is quick when I want to share something for amiga.org users. I would share a lot more from my huge Amiga collection here on amiga.org if rules would allow it :)

Ahhh found the issue! If I navigate to the directory I get a not found error, but if I navigate just to your site I get :
ACCESS TO THE SITE REQUESTED HAS BEEN EXPLICITLY DENIED UNDER EMC'S POLICY DUE TO THIS SITE REPRESENTING A SIGNIFICANT RISK TO EMC INFORMATION SECURITY.
I guess my company classes your site as evil and full of aweful things to mankind! :-)
