Title: Replacement A4000 board impossible?
Post by: gary2000 on December 09, 2014, 03:13:44 PM
I wonder if a replacement A4000 'bare' board would be impossible.  I realize it has 4 layers, but other ones are being produced (gb1000).

You would then remove the custom chips from the bad boards to transfer over along w/ new components.

I would enjoy that project if affordable (especially if it could have some modern improvements).

Anything is possible I guess, would be great to see an improved board, 64mb Motherboard Ram, built in Romy (1mb Rom) support, PIO2 as standard :)

We can dream...
