I installed PFS3 on a Quantum Fireball 1280S Hard Drive with the following options:
- Mask: 0xFFFFFFFC
- MaxTransfer: 0xFFFE00 and 0x+1FE00 (tried both, same problem)
- Buffers: 250
- Partitions: DH0: 500mb, DH1: 200mb, DH2: 200mb, DH3: 200mb, DH4: 180mb
I formatted the partition with the following command (without Quick Option):
- pfsformat DEVICE DH0: NAME Workbench
Afterwards I installed WB 3.1 and IDEfix97.
But when trying to copy my Classic Workbench "System.zip" with about 70mb size from the CD-ROM to DH0, I alwalys get the following error:
" Error while copying "System.zip" not enough memory available. Remove incomplete object? "
Does somebody know how to solve this issue ? Thanks...

0xFFFE00 is certainly wrong. 0x+1FE00 has a plus sign too much. Please remove it between x and 1. The buffers setting does not matter. It would now be interesting to see the remaining options of your partition, start cylinder, end cylinder, sectors per track etc. There is a small utility in Aminet called "Devices". Download that, try "devices dh0:", this gives you the partition parameters as seen from the filing system. If these parameters look ok, try FFS instead. Does somebody know how to solve this issue ? Thanks...
It just means that your partition run full. Thus, probably it does not have the size you assume it should have. But without further information, this is hard to guess.

Hi Thomas
Many thanks for your reply. I meanwhile tried to format the HD with the Smart File System (SFS) and now it works very well. For others, this guide is really helpful:
