Or at least anyone that tinkers/plays with it? I'm trying to set it up for fun and I'm running into issues making boot disks. It's most likely something simple I'm doing wrong but I figured I'd throw it out cause I seem unable to resolve it on my own:
I've created boot floppies from the images found on the mmhart web site, but when I try to boot from them on my 3000D it pops up with "Not a valid DOS disk" or something similar. I'm rather frustrated as it would appear nobody has ever had this issue. Any help would be appreciated.

I´m going to start playing with Amix as soon as possible.
Sorry no help from me at the moment, only few things that popped up in my mind: Init? Bootblock? Different Kicks?
I have the Amix disks, but haven´t tried´em yet, I´ll return. :o)

How compatible is AMIX? Can it use any modern apps if recompiled (it is supposed to be POSIX-compliant, right?)?

BTW, is it possible to run AMIX on WinUAE? That would be kinda cool! 8-)

I've gotten up to the point that AMIX boots from diskettes, and displays the SYS V info...
But, I've never gone down installing it, cause of the 040 in my A3000.

I've not tried, but I imagine it isn't because AMIX probably requires an MMU which is not really emulated in WinUAE.

I'd be happy to just get that far.

@Crusher
Yup. It's a great site. In fact I emailed Mark there and he was great at replying. I think the problem may be with the internal floppy drive. I don't think it's working at 100%, so I'm going to rebuild/replace it and try again. I'm hoping this allows progress. According to all that I have conversed with about this, it should be very straightforward to get this working which is why I'm leaning towards a hardware issue.
