Title: Orinoco 848441481
Post by: Blinx123 on September 01, 2014, 03:22:57 PM
I recently discovered a few of those Orinoco Silver branded wifi adaptors with WEP encryption.
Do those work with any Amiga? Are they worth anything?

Due to unforeseen events, I'm in dire need of raising a bit of money and, the Destiny Ghost Edition I already paid for in full (but that no one seems to want) aside, this lot is one of the few items I could see myself part with.

They do work fine with any Amiga with PCMCIA slot and kickstart 3.x. I guess you could ask something like 10e per card for them.

They work with WPA too (TKIP only), but are a bit fussy when it comes to compatibility with modern routers. See prism2v2.lha on Aminet for more information.
