Hi All
I am trying to get a copy of the Power supply Schematic for the Old Amiga 500 (Brick) 110volt or 240 volt.
I have been looking at all the Links that are around and there does not appear to be a Schematic around.
If you have made your own copy , i would be pleased to get a copy.
I don't want a pc power supply replacement for the brick but a real schematic Please
Thanks

why do you need a schematic? there's really not a lot in these, either a part works, or it doesn't, if it doesn't, replace it?
or, are you trying to build a psu exactly the same from scratch?

Hi AmmoJammo
I am looking at repairing the unit
-12 Volt Line about - 23 VOLTS (Youch)
I would like to have a Circuit or Schematic
Thanks

The negative 12volt rail comes from an LM7912 negative voltage regulator, which regulates a higher negative voltage down to the -12volt, in your case, the regulator has shorted the input to the output... if you can't figure that out without a schematic, you shouldn't be attempting to repair it...

Good news! Transformers go back to Edison's time (as a way to piss off George Westinghouse by converting AC to DC), so most any electrical repair place (TV/Radio repair shop) can fix them.

@AmmoJammo
After some 40 Years of servicing electronic equipment, I may have the runs on the board.
I have replaced the -12 Volt regulator and the unit is now working.
I go Back to the original Request "" A Schematic for the Power Supply "".
Does any body have one Please.

you have the power supply, why do you need a schematic?
