Post by: TheDaddy on August 19, 2014, 05:54:01 PM
Please post photos, suggestions, improvements, hacking, step by step assembly, interesting builds of your X500 Evo and Plus cases.

I'll start with this blog by Marios (white X500 Evo), first two pages:

LOL yeah it is. A bit pricey but you always get what you pay for :)
Can't wait for the GPU and some more parts to arrive from the U.S. and China... oh well!

Great stuff, you must be very proud of your achievement.

I personally love this case. I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but the case always reminds me of the Acorn Archimedes.

Yes...I think it's the extra keys...it reminds me (and I designed it) of the Atari ST and the Sinclair PC200...it must be the 80s boy in me. :D

Thanks guys :)
I always try to do my best to fit my needs. Irritating part is documenting everything but I guess that's how many people get motivated (as I do the same reading other blogs).

It's indeed a big case (as the A500 is anyway). Despite not being a beasty PC, it's really legit for everyday usage and mid specc gaming :)

Yes, it all fits in a C64 like the one with which I'm posting since three years ago ;). http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=58992

What mini ATX are you using?

Great project.

If anyone is interested I should have one or two X500 Evo left when I've finished assembling the last ones. I'll let you know the exact number later. Thanks! ;)
