Anyone else got one of these
http://harddrives.nanakonadu.com/apollo23-secure-digital-44-pin-2-5-male-ide-to-sd-card-adapter-amiga-600-1200/
I have got 3 of them, but cant figure out how to use them with another ide-device. My whole point was to use it for backup, which is impossible if it won't cooperate with another harddrive or cf card.
No master/slave jumper.
Anyone? :-)

I do not have that exact adapter. but i have this (http://www.dx.com/p/sd-card-to-ide-adapter-1698#.U-3lRGMl_p8) and it was setup in one A1200 and worked just fine in another. It even worked in UAE. I have not tried it with other hdds on the same cable. My A1200 main HDD is SCSI.. But it is afaik default set as master.
If you have cf adapters and still want to use SD cards, you could try this (http://www.dx.com/p/sdhc-sd-mmc-to-cf-type-ii-card-adapter-132701#.U-3lCmMl_p9) or this (http://www.dx.com/p/sdxc-eye-fi-to-cf-card-adapter-black-173746#.U-3lCmMl_p9). I have not tried them yet.
On a side note, the adapter you got looks really like this one (http://www.dx.com/p/sdhc-sd-memory-card-to-2-5-ide-adapter-card-8gb-max-19737#.U-3oL2Ml_p8)...

I think it IS the same adaptor. Using a sd to cf adaptor and then use cf to ide adaptor is a solution of course, but i would like to eliminere redundancy if possible. :-)

redundancy?
As in a raid sort of function?
if on disk dies one is still present?
Or do you just want to have your files stored in multiple places?
Or is it eliminating unneeded components....?
have you considered just using CF cards instead of SD?
in my A1200 i have a SCSI 3.6gig hdd. and i have copied the contents of all my floppys into the hdd. and i used my zip drive to transfer all of it to a hardfile in uae. then i copied the hardfile to cd and to my nas server running raid 6... as for redundancy..... :D
next project is to make adf image of all the floppies...

you can buy a 4xIDE99 from Elbox and connect 2.5 and 3.5 harddrives at the same time on the internal IDE port of the A1200.
