Hello again. I'm running Amiga Explorer x64 on my PC running Windows 7.
I'm unable to get Amiga Explorer to work on the Amiga side. I'll explain what is happening.
I turn on the Amiga 500 and put in WB 1.3.2. Once I use the CLI, I type in the following commands: Type SER: to RAM:Setup. On the Windows Side, I click okay, and Amiga Explorer loads for a moment. After that, a message pop up telling me to press ctrl c on the amiga then press okay. It's supposed to display the word ***Break, however I don't get any messages. I'm able to type another command, but I don't get the ***word break on the screen. If I type RAM:Setup, I get a message: 'Unable to load RAM:Setup: File is not an object module'.
If I type RAM: I get a message stating Object not of required type. If I type list RAM:Setup, It shows: 'RAM:Setup 1001 ----rwed Today 4:52:17'.
I have a few questions: The serial buffer was at size 4096 then I tried it again at 512. Baud rate is at 19200. Question one. Could my Antivirus (avast) be causing any issues and if so, is there a way to stop my Antivirus from doing so? Question two: Should I fiddle around with the baud or buffer size? If so, what do you recommend? Question three: I'm using a usb to rs232 cable connected to a null modem to rs232. Could it be the cable failing?
Edit: I switched buffer rate to 4096 and once I redo the commands, I list ram:Setup and it shows it at 10601 instead of 1001.
Thanks again.

Edit again: Nevermind. Changing the buffer rate to 16000 fixed the problem.
