I need a WB 1.3 floppy. My Amiga 500 had arrived today and it works, however I somehow managed to corrupt both 1.3 floppies that I had. Is there a way to use AmigaDos with out a floppy or fix the corrupted floppies?
Also I need a Amiga Explorer floppy. I was having issues with Amiga Explorer not being able to connect to my Amiga. I cant remember the error I got. I cant recreate the error, since the disks were kaputt.
Amiga Explorer Properties:
Connection: Serial
Port: Com6 (When I plug in my USB to RS232 into a USB port, windows will popup with a bubble stating that the cable was connected as Com4, 5, or 6. Does it matter that its at com6, or does it need to be com1 (both computer and Amiga Explorer Settings)
Options:
Packet size: 4096
Max retries: 50
I made sure all the settings were the same, but I got an error when I was running setup. I typed in 'Type SER: to RAM:setup', but Amiga Explorer shows an error. I think I can fix the issue, but I need a new copy of WB 1.3, maybe 2, if I screw things over, and a copy of Amiga Explorer. Thank you. Would Amiga Explorer still work (with a floppy), even though I had the error after attempting to connect via 'Type Ser: To Ram:Setup'?
I'm willing to pay for shipping. Thank you.
Edit: I have copy of 'Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego' and Deluxe Paint 2. Would I be able to access AmigaDos, Workbench, Ram:, or anything else, or am I screwed until I get a working copy of Workbench?
Edit again: I was able to access Cli with Dpaint and Carmen Sandiego, but I'm unable to use the Type command.
Final edit, hopefully: I recieved my floppies today. Don't need any WB floppies. Thank you.
