For sale is my Silicon Graphics O2 Workstation.
Here are the specs for this machine:
180MHz R5000 MIPS CPU
192MB RAM
18GB 15000 RPM SCSI Drive
CD Drive - Functional and working
A spare PSU will be provided as well because these old systems are known to blow power supplies.
IRIX 6.5.30f installed fresh with base and Applications CD configured.
Here are some photos of the machine:

Other side. Not much to see.
If you lack a PS/2 mouse and keyboard I have a cheap, but functional, Dell and unbranded mouse that are PS/2 I'll include for no charge.
I'm located in Ashburn, Virginia. Price is $140 + postage or near offers via PayPal. I will be willing to ship internationally but the package will need to be insured and travel via registered mail via a carrier like FedEx or UPS.
Item is being offered elsewhere as well

Update: IRIX 6.5.30f installed including base system and IRIX 6.5 Applications. Unconfigured with a blank root password for convenience ( Don't worry its never been networked )

Another computer is the last thing I need, but why don't you describe the software included with this system, for anyone who might be interested in another hobby computer in their house/apartment. What applications are installed, and perhaps provide a link to any sites that offer software for such a machine.
Just a suggestion, good luck with your sale.
If we get too many complaints about this thread, we may need to move it to a different forum. This space is supposed to be for Amiga items.

the subject that reminds me of few sgi workstations ive seen when moving my studio only few years ago in the beans of berlin recycling department. i was hard pressed not to rescue at least one of them even though you are strictly prohibited. they looked so cute!

Let me know - because I didn't see an off topic marketplace forum. I don't want to push my stuff onto unwilling users - I just know my SGI thread had some buzz for a bit.
Nothing really much to say about the software as the Applications CD is pretty much standard UNIX programs and helper stuff for SGI IRIX; if you want to be specific on the contents: http://inside.mines.edu/~dlarue/cc/sgi-varsity/cd.products.html#_cch3_894497630

Unless I get any interested parties, to eBay this one goes. ( There will be more down the line )

Just FYI, your pics don't show up. After you click on the "Post Reply" button in these threads there is a button for "Manage attachments" which will allow you to attach pictures directly to your thread. That's probably a better way of doing it. ;)

You're right... I wonder how long they've been like that. Stupid Dropbox. Ill snap new ones and reupload then, just hope the uploaded on other sites isn't as buggy as the one here is Firefox.

Nice machine, I already have two so don't need it. Great buy for someone that loves classic SGI hardware and IRIX.

Here I snapped some more photos.
And yeah Pyromania they're quite common, I have Yuyuko and Mima though for graphics work so a low end O2 isn't what I'm after. Maybe if it had an R12000 CPU I'd keep this.

Unfortunately this one has to go on eBay, I need to clear the space for a shipment of more parts coming in, but not to worry! I have an Indy I'm going to be testing and selling as well as all of the O2 and Indigos I am getting in!
