For what ever reason, most command line documentation goes right over my head, and I don't understand what it's talking about till I'm thrown a few examples and have put them to use first hand, then I can "usually" break down the rest.
So, given that AROS has no graphical means to compress a folder (that I am aware of), I must resort to ZIP, though I can not for the life of me seem to be able to creat an archive that not only compresses the target folder I had in mind, but also it's INFO file.
Can someone give me a tip, we'll use the folder name "DarkForces" and icon name "DarkForces.info" as an example.
Thanks in advance!

Does AROS have a DOpus 4 port? If the default configuration is anything like the 68K or OS4 versions, one of the menu options is "Add to Zip...". Just select the directory and its .info, hit that menu command, and you should be all set.

Man, that would have been a major boon if Dopus 4 for AROS had been pre-configured in that way! Though now that you mention it, all I should need to do is install it back on my Amiga and have a look at the configuration file then transfer that to the AROS one.
Thanks!
