Title: PcDuino3!!
Post by: nyteschayde on May 09, 2014, 04:56:16 AM
So my PcDuino3 (http://www.pcduino.com/pcduino-v3/) just arrived. It's pretty amazing. Already, immediately out of the envelope it arrived in, it's leaps and bounds better than the Raspberry Pi.

It could easily be slipped inside a fully functioning A600 and it has enough horsepower to do decent things. It booted directly into a pre-installed Ubuntu ARM variant with tools like java, python and gcc/g++ fully installed and ready to rock and roll.

It has programmable GPIO pins for interfacing with what you want and it even is directly compatible with Arduino boards for extra functionality. I'm not quite sure if I'm brave enough to just try to start interfacing this with a real Amiga just yet, but it does have some awesome implications and potential uses.

It's also almost exactly the same dimensions as an iPhone (except thinner of course, being just a PC Board). I'm posting this and the original article using Chromium from the PcDuino3.

I linked it in the first post, but it clearly wasn't easily found. Here it is in a more readable format. I got mine for about $80 which is about twice the actual price of a Raspberry Pi, of which I have two. This is better.
